Austin Texas Community Involvement

Goldwasser Real Estate was founded on a belief that we have an obligation to give back to our Austin community. Our success enables us to do this through a number of vehicles, including Rock ’n’ Restock, our Fall Festival, and our Partners in Education program, to name a few.

Rock 'n' Restock

Rock ’n’ Restock began in 2004 as the brainchild of Chad and Tara Goldwasser. Initially a client appreciation party, they realized that the event was the perfect way to fulfill one of the company’s missions—to give back to the community—while incorporating Chad’s love of live music. Over the years, the vision has grown. What began as a small party has turned into a major event, with more than 700 Austinites rocking to Bob Schneider and raising $10,000 for charities including the Capital Area Food Bank and Right Course. Past headliners have included Guy Forsyth, Lavelle White, Grupo Fantasma, and Bob Schneider.

The 2009 Rock 'n' Restock was held Friday, June 19, at the Zilker Clubhouse, featuring T Bird and the Breaks with opening act Flyjack!

Fall Festival

Each October, Goldwasser Real Estate hosts a family-oriented client party at Sweet Berry Farm in Marble Falls. Children enjoy hay rides, pony rides, goat feedings, a pumpkin patch, scarecrow stuffing, pumpkin painting, face painting, and a hay maze. This event raises hundreds of dollars and hundreds of toys annually to benefit Toys for Tots.

Partners in Education Program

Since 2006, Goldwasser Real Estate has served as Partners in Education to local school districts. The program offers sellers the opportunity to donate 3% of our listing commission to the school of their choice. The company has also sponsored events at local schools, and to date we have been privileged to donate more than $26,000 to area schools.
