Chad Goldwasser is the founder of Goldwasser International, leading the number one residential real estate team in Austin, TX. Goldwasser Real Estate's mission is to be the world leader in providing revolutionary value and innovation for buyers and sellers of residential real estate.
In 1997, Chad left his native Minnesota and joined his now wife, Tara, in Austin, Texas. The next year, he pursued his real estate license and began selling homes. Early in his real estate career, Chad was introduced to the team concept and realized its benefits. Tara soon joined him as an administrative assistant, and Chad began building his own team with Re/Max. The Goldwasser Team joined Keller Williams in 2005 and grew to be the top team worldwide for Keller Williams Realty. In November 2008, the team left Keller Williams and formed its own independent brokerage.
In 2008, Goldwasser Real Estate helped more than 400 families buy and sell real estate, and the company’s sales volume has grown from $4 million in 1999 to more than $100 million in 2008. Chad and his company have won numerous honors for their achievements, including Realtor of the Year from the Austin Home Builders Association in 2005 and a number one ranking by the Austin Business Journal for 2007 and 2008. The company has also been recognized as one of the top 50 real estate teams by Lore magazine and the Wall Street Journal.
Chad first learned about serving others while working in the restaurant business. Today, Chad’s life exemplifies the company’s core values of service, people, leadership, teamwork, self-improvement, competence, performance, creativity, innovation, and a dedication to a great reputation and raising the bar of excellence.
Chad remains active in the real estate division while working to develop other aspects of the company, such as the Goldwasser Institute, a teaching and training business designed to educate and inspire others to follow their own dreams and realize their own potential, just as he has. Chad is recognized as a dynamic, experienced, and sought-after public speaker who motivates and enriches lives through his talks about attitude, leadership, and personal growth. His first book, Some Assembly Required: A Networking Guide for Real Estate Professionals (with Thom Singer) was published in 2009.
In 2007, Chad co-founded Right Course, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping single-parent families pay the costs for their children to participate in organized sports through the help of public, private, and corporate donations and grants.
Chad has devoted his life to leadership, teaching, training, and speaking, and has attended numerous classes and courses on the subject including four years of the prestigious Exchange hosted by John Maxwell.
Chad and Tara have been married since 1997. Despite his busy professional schedule, Chad makes a point to spend time with his three young children.
